It’s been a year since you left us. You were a strong and vibrant cat. You provided us with many good year’s
of joy and laughter.
We miss the way you protected our balcony from birds. We miss your special chatter you made when were on the hunt. The way you played with your sister and tore through the living room was hilarious, especially when you bonked your head. You loved your mom so very much, and she misses you so dearly. You shared her time with your sister, you were a very special cat.
I miss our chase times we had, and the truce we shared when your mom wasn’t home. We miss the special noises you made, especially when jumping down to the floor. We miss your unique sidestep walk. I’ve never seen a walk like that since. We miss you finally scratching the door rug instead of the furniture. We laugh at all the times you got stuck in the drawer, and when we would accidentally lock you in the cabinet because you snuck in there.
Coming home to a noisy scratchy drawer always made me chuckle. Your hiding places in such a small home was always a mystery. We miss the way you came running at the smallest noise of a can opener. We loved the calm way you put up with your sister being hissy and bitchy at times. I even miss the crunchy noises coming from the kitchen in the middle of the night.
Your compulsive midnight kitty litter scratching will be missed. No matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t get it covered perfectly. Your time was cut short, but your memory lives on forever. We miss you Spooky.
