KFC Kitty “Colonel””” by Sue Akins / Miss Sue

Dear Sweet KFC Kitty,

I didn’t know you long but your sweet heart and gentle ways profoundly touched my heart. I am so sorry that your life ended so abruptly. I so wanted to help you and give you some happiness in life. I know that your life had been hard and that you were very sick. I wanted so much to take away your pain and find you a home where you were safe and well taken care of.

I will always remember our day together when we sat in the grass and ate KFC chicken. You were so polite, kind and grateful for the meal we shared. What a little gentlemen as you gently took each piece. I’m so sorry that I was too late to save you from the ravages of leukemia and heartworm and especially that I wasn’t with you when you were euthanized.

I know that my friend Ellie told you that I loved you and the kids at KFC loved you too and did the best for you that they knew how. Dear sweet, kind hearted kitty, I know that you are now in a safe, special, place with God. You are now healthy, strong and happy and God is taking care of you. Please know that I loved you and that you will abide in my heart.

I will remember you always. Go on into the next life, little one. You will be loved always. I will see you again soon and we can get to know each other better. Be happy my sweet darling, God will take of you now.

Much love always,
Miss Sue, the Kind Lady

You were precious and loved,
KFC Kitty "Colonel"""
