Cricquette by Donna and Jack Hofmann / Mommy

Miss Cricquette,

What a joy you were to our lives! You came in a shy fearful little girl, and grew into a very loving demonstrative and entertaining kitty. Daddy loved to give you his nose nuzzle, which you shied away from at first but grew to love and enjoy. We played with Tortoise and you carried him around the house with you.

Your domain was mainly the bedroom. You welcomed me home from the bedroom…bleating your cheerful hello loudly. At bedtime you welcomed me into bed bleating and squealing and wiggling around coquettishly. Somehow you knew what I needed and proceeded to massage my arm, up and down. You worked hard to heal and take away my pain. And you went through so much pain yourself!

Cricquette, you were a sweet loving and gentle girl. Our lives were enriched with your love. You gave us joy and love and made us laugh with you. We miss you so much. The house feels so empty without you!

With much love,
Cricquette
