Heidi,
From the moment I first saw you as a month old puppy I knew we had a bond. I bought you as a valentines gift for my wife and o the tears when she saw you for the first time. We gave you all the love that we would for our own child as we always joked to others that you were our “child substitute”. As you grew you had a real fiesty nature and would not let anyone near us. In the middle of you life you started to have seizures and we provide all the medical care available. We took you camping and on trips to visit our other children and you got to see a part of the world. But your health worsend and all too soon you left us the day after Thanksgiving.
Heidi, when you left you took part of the heart of a 52 year old man. The rest of my heart will always hold your memory. The Lord God is good and loves all His creation. My prayer is that in heaven along with my loved ones that all dogs will be there to run and chase and bark in Gods great garden. Thank you for allowing me to share with you your short life.
