I adopted you when you were 6 weeks old. I chose you because you were the smallest, cutest kitten at the vet’s office. I had just graduated college and in my first adult decision decided to adopt you. You were always afraid of all of my guests from the time you were a tiny kitten- a true scaredy cat. You were a Momma’s boy to the end. We moved together 7 times. You watched me get married and even learned to love my husband. You watched me have a child.
You were the smartest cat that I have ever known- often putting your skills to work to find food. You loved to jump to the highest point you could find, explore bags and boxes, chase/torture your brother, and cuddle with me at night. Paper towel rolls were never safe around you. You loved string more than anything- perhaps a little too much, but you never learned it was bad for you despite your “suicide attempt” 6 years ago. I know you are no longer sick and I know it was your time to leave us. I miss you so much.
Until we meet again,
