For 16 years, you were my world…even after other dogs were adopted, I got married and had your human sister Tierra. Even though your canine siblings went on without you and my husband left, there you remained. The one constant in my life….my prince. As your steps got slower and your muzzle became white, you still hung on…for me, your. Mommy, because you sensed I needed you-and I did. In your final hours I did my best to comfort you as you have me for so many years….

And now I say goodbye because you left me to join your canine brother and sister in Heaven. You were the only one I could truly confide in, be myself without judgement and cry in front of without ridicule. I will miss my shotgun buddy and my “snuggle bug”…..no one can take your place, you were my baby in every sense of the word.
