You had a rough start but a lucky thumping by a car brought you to the emergency vet where you met Diana. She knew I wanted a second cat and told me about you. I saw you there a few days later, angry at the world, full of hiss and growl. I don’t know why but I said I’d take yon home. When you got there you hid under the bed. So I used food, putting it close to you then sitting across the room talking to you. Every week I moved the bowl closer. In time you got used to me and became a wonderful friend. You were self petting, and always talkative. I’ll miss your cute burr-ow, the way your tail curled into a crook to the right, always right, the way you’d trot down the hall in front of me when you knew I had food. I already miss your little heart shaped face and those beautiful blue eyes. It’d was time you were sick and bad days were outweighing the good. So I let you go, I miss you, thank you for 13 wonderful years of companionship.
I love you Isis,
