Asha: You left us yesterday morning. It happened too quickly. The vet was waiting to see you, but you did not get there. We knew this would happen sometime,
but I am heartbroken.
Dear Ashita, you were such a gentle, affectionate, innocent soul, without a mean bone in your body. We got you from the Humane Society, and I knew you were old and had kidney disease. We were told you would not live more than two years. You lived four. But, Oh, how much love you gave us in such a short time! You always purred so loudly when you came near us, and you would snuggle between us at night, to let us both
know you were there.
How can such a little animal make such a difference in our souls? We are also old, Asha, and I know we will see you again soon. Please forgive my tears. I know it will all be okay when we cross over. Meanwhile, please know that we love you and miss you terribly.
Hasta pronto Ashita.
