I adopted Augie from the local shelter who had been turned in because his owner had used him as hunting dog and when Augie began to age, his usefulness had expired. When I took him into my home and was amazed at this guy’s spunk. He would pick on dogs who were bigger than he was and he could manage going up and down stairs. He touched my heart because his tail was only wagging and even though he had problems seeing and walked with a slight gimp, he could over come any obstacle. He will always be in my heart and treasure the time I had with him. I love you Augie!
