I met Taffy at Pets In Need animal shelter in Hudson in April 2014. I had started to volunteer there that month. A few months later, my Renegade passed away. I adopted Taffy soon after, as I had already fallen for him and knew I would want to adopt him. He was so special and all the volunteers loved him because he was easy going and
loved to give hugs.
In early 2015, he developed a lump on his hip that grew quickly and several vets felt it was an aggressive cancer, and due to that fact and his age, surgery wasn’t a good option for him. I treated him at home for as long as I could, before I finally had to let him go, before he started to have serious
discomfort or pain.
I wish I had him longer than a year and a half, but I will always cherish that brief time I had with him. I hope he is resting comfortably now with Renegade, Duke and my other babies who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, until I see them again.
WE LOVE YOU TAFFY! We will always miss your special hugs.
Loving you always & forever,
| Taffy |
