Eleven years ago I went to Wal-Mart for just one item. There was a woman outside looking for a home for this gorgeous little black lab puppy. I couldn’t resist. It was the best decision I ever made. We loved that little guy with all of our hearts from that moment on. That little guy turned into 90 lbs. very quickly. His name is Ziggy. He has been the heart and soul of this family since then. Ziggy is most definetly a “daddy’s boy”.
He now has 3 sisters and 2 brothers which are missing him terribly. Our precious Ziggy left us Thursday and I am just now able to compose this tribute to my baby. He gave us so much joy and happiness. I hope we did the same for him. I know we did because we treated him like the king he was.
We will miss him more than words can express. Our hearts are broken. This heartache is going to be around for a very very long time.
Take care of yourself my angel until we meet again. We will cherish the memories you left with us.
