My Sammy went today away
in Rainbow bridge you play
such a sweet cat my friend
stroked you until your end.
My sweet old lady now free
your spirit now run with glee
renewed your health this day
in rainbow bridge now play.
Only for a short while with me
your last few years did I see
a privilege to have you stay
love you gave me every day
My Sammy put to sleep
18 years and 7 month
My Sammy free now to play
In the Rainbow sun you lay
I’ll see you again one day.
