My dearest Daisy,
Your body was old and sick.
Your heart and your will,
Never gave up.
On that last day,
The vet held you gently.
To comfort and reassure you,
Everything’s going to be alright.
I said my last goodbyes,
and slipped quietly from the room.
A little yelp I did hear,
brought more tears to the surface.
But then all was silent,
As in a moment of Peace.
The Master had come so quietly,
To take you in His Arms of Comfort.
No more pain you do endure,
Your journey is now complete.
In the Masters Arms you rest,
I know everything’s alright.
Always loved and remembered,
Daisy |
