As I sit here with pen and paper
I will quietly doodle,
an expression of my great love
for my beloved teacup poodle.
So now I will begin to write
about my little “baby” that made
my life so right!
It is such a cute little pet story,
the one about my precious little dog
and all his poodle glory.
Kali-Tatuni is the name of the one
that brought me great joy,
he was so cute and cuddly
who looked like a little stuffed toy.
I spoiled him to bits and pieces and
I let him do anything he pleases.
Kali-Tatuni meant “Fierce Little One”
in Swahilii. He was so high spirited
and oh so friendly.
He was such a dear and
precious member of my family.
His love and devotion I truly did depend.
He was more than just a pet
he was my very best friend.
He was true and faithful all
the to the very end.
Oh what a wonderful and incredible treasure,
he filled my heart with countless
memories of pleasure.
I can look anywhere in the world
and I will never find,
a pet that was more loving
he was one of a kind.
Kali was so sweet and adorable
also wonderful and loveable.
When I went to work Kali stayed home lonely
and alone but always lovingly waiting
for me to come home.
Kali would see me open the door,
then he jumped up and
down in a way I adored.
He twirled and twirled and
happily whirled and whirled.
He danced and jumped in great delight
and he brought to my heart
brightness and light.
At night as I would get on my knees and
give sincere thanks to the Lord
for another day,
he would patiently wait nearby
for me when I completed my prayers.
As we both lay down and cuddled
in bed to rest,
I always gave thanks to God
for a little pet that was the very best.
I have been greatly blessed
for 16 years with such a warm
and loving pet who was very dear.
Our love and affection for each other
I will never forget.
Kali will forever live in my heart,
nothing could come between us or
ever tear us apart.
I love him so very very much,
he gave my life that very
extra special touch!
I love you forever Baby!
