More than just being “keen”, “alert” or “spry”
Zippy is “strong” and “gentle”…,
“Loving”, “tender” and “wise”.
And in that name- there only lies
the biscuit in his bowl-
His sweet eyes and sleek coat
and a lapping, happy soul
To Zippy we raise
our hearts, hands and paws-
Heaven’s gates are open
The big bone is yours- forever to gnaw!
