On October 1, 2002 I bought a male black lab puppy who became my best friend for five years. On October 27, 2007 Casey was laid to rest. We moved over to Gera Rd in Birchrun, and on that night I was upstairs and my friend said Casey just barked go check on him, so I went out and called for him. I looked down the road I saw him there so I took off running and screaming, no no. When I got there I pulled him out of the road laid his head on my lab and cried. A lady eventually stopped and drove me home. I was only 5 minutes down the road. My brother carried Casey home. The guy who hit him didn’t even swirve or stop.
I now have General Lee 4 mth old ckc yellow lab puppy whom I bought at 9 wks old; his dad weighed 110 and mother weighed 97; he’s already a big boy.
