Our Heavenly Father,
My heart aches…………………….
Though not certain, I trust that Heaven awaits the souls of our beloved pets. I cannot comprehend an eternity in a perfect place without those who provide unconditional love while here on earth.
Oh Lord I pray………….
If the gates of Heaven do not open for the kindred spirits of our pets, cast me out instead. I am not or never could be worthy of your grace. Our pets are perfect, divine creations without sin. Please let them in.
I seek your comfort, dear Lord…………….
I miss my Sable and long to be with her once more. I picture her waiting patiently for me at the Rainbow Bridge where she and I will cross together never to be parted again. Is this wishful thinking Father? Will my beloved friend and companion be waiting for me when I go?
Please Lord, I pray…………………
Will you answer? Will I understand?
