1990 —– Oct. 20 2001
Abby was my best friend since I was in the 2nd grade.
I was 7 and now I’m 18
I had her put to sleep yesterday today 20th of Oct.
I miss her soooooooo much
but here to begin our life together!!!
I got Abby when she was 4 weeks old.
I could hold her in the palm of my hand she was so beautiful.
I got her because of a good report card.
As I said I was in the second grade.
She didn’t like me too much I guess because
she was 4 weeks old and I was 7.
She wanted to sleep and I wanted to play,
but we became best of friends.
She would sit right by me when ever I was upset.
She would sit by me till I fell asleep at night and
then go and run around the house.
There was no sign that she was in pain even when we got her put down.
She was just all of a sudden real thirsty and I had no clue why.
I work at a kennel so I assumed it was diabetes and I was right
but it was so high up
she would have needed 2 shots a day and
I’m 18 still living at home.
I couldn’t afford it and my parents wouldn’t help me of course
because she was my cat and my responsibility
and at 11 I didn’t want to have to change her feeding to 2 times a day.
When for 11 yrs she was free fed and I’m sorry Abby.
I love you so much.
I wish I had a better job and I could have afforded it.
I love you soo much and you will always remain in my heart and
you will never be forgotten.
And I will see you again someday.
And baby I love YOU….
And my mom your good friend loves you too and
misses combing your long beautiful hair.
We will never replace the pictures of you right as you come in the house
and especially not the one of you and Coco.
And I hope you and Coco are having fun chasing
laser lights and butterflies and taking long naps in the sun.
No more pain. No more confusion
I’ll see you there.
