I am writing this story to tell you a little about our beloved Meka. She was an 8 year old female Boxer, who gave so much love to our family! She was very smart and very loyal! She was friendly to everyone! We made the difficult choice to put her to rest after she began having seizures on June 26, 2003.
After rushing her to the vet, he determined that she had a heart condition called Cardiomyopathy. Her little heart, so full of love, was very weak now, and dying. After talking with our vet, and weighing out long term prognosis, we chose to put her to rest. We had no guarentee that Meka would ever recover and be well again. This was the hardest day of my life. I miss her every hour of every day! There are many nights I cry myself to sleep! She is buried in our back yard under a tree, and is memorialized here at home!
