Charlie by Patricia Davison / Your human mum.

My parents gave me Charlie as a gift – to welcome me home from to England after 12 years living in America. I’d had to leave my little spaniel, Lily with my husband. Charlie was a gift from mum and dad -he would be my first and only friend on my return home and help me through the grief of losing Lily. Charlie was in a litter of puppies and the first to come to me, stumpy little tail wagging and a coat as soft as satin. He and I became soul mates immediatly. I loved him more than my own life and still do. He became very ill in the fall of 1996 and no vet was able to make him well. I guess it was his time to leave. I held him as his little spirit left; and sent part of my own soul light with him to guide him on his journey. My life has never been the same without him and will never be. I think of him everyday and he will remain in my heart forever until I meet him again – and only then will I feel happy again.

For my little star, I love you.
Charlie
