Cherub by Ellen Jane Harris / Mom and Angel

MY name is Cherub,
short for Mischievous Little Cherubim.

I would like to tell you a little about my Mom so you will understand the importance of my part in her life. Her only two Children, daughters, passed away and naturally she was devastated and
felt alone. Her maternal instinct was so strong that I was needed in her life.

At 8 weeks old I was sitting in an open top cage with 6 other puppies and when my soon to be Mom came in to the room, it was complete love at first site.

From the first day we came home I needed to show Her how Happy I was and started humping her leg.

We have been through, close to 16 years of unconditional love and devotion to each other.

I am no longer able to play catch with her or play in the stream or fountain. You see, AGE has caught up with me and I am now deaf and blind and my little heart grows old and tired. Now my Mom carries me in her arms and shows me in so many other ways just how much she loves me and I,kept humping her leg.

Miss Cherub passed peacefully in my arms. She leaves behind an adorable little daughter,Angel.
My Cherished Little Friend, you are in bedded in my heart forever.

I love you Cherub,
Cherub
