Geneva by Justice + Melinda

It was a hot sunny day in Homer New York. That day mom took Geneva and I to my cousin Jeff’s work to see a calf that was born that night. After that, we went to my cousin Jeff’s house. The babysitter was there so mom went for a ride, without Geneva, but before she left she said to watch Geneva. Like us kids we say yes mom I’m one of them kids. I went inside and my cousin, Miranda and I started fighting about something, I won then I went in the backroom to clean and she went outside to clean with her three sisters and her 3 yr. old brother stayed inside. Miranda came in telling the babysitter that Geneva got hit by a van, the babysitter said say that again, she said it again. I thought I was hearing things so I kept on cleaning, the babysitter came running into the backroom, Geneva got hit, I said what she said it again.

I pushed her out of the way, ran outside got to the pouch and yelling “GENEVA NOOOOO!!!!”” The lady that hit her was there she told her to go get a shovel, she ran outback to get the shovel she came back picked her up and put her in the grass I got down on the ground and cried, then mom pulled in the drive way I ran up to her and said, “”Geneva got hit””. She got out of the car went over to her got down on the ground and cried. She told woman to go down the rode and turn left in her car. Mom told us to go inside she did CPR the babysitter came in and said your mom wants you so I went outside she tolled me to say my good-byes to her. I bent down kissed her and said I love you and I will see you soon.
