Felicity by Michaela Earley / Gary, Vanessa, Michaela, Melanie, Emily, Miffy

I was five when my parents said we could have a cat, and I was given the job of picking one. We went to the SPCA, and as I was walking down the aisles, a small white paw reached out and touched my shoulder. I knew instantly I wanted this one, after all she chose me.

She was a gorgeous black white and brown tabby, who had a rough start in life. We named her Felicity. My younger sister had trouble pronouncing this, so she called her Lifty, and the name stuck.

Despite her rough start in life, she had a loving, sweet nature. Felicity soon earned a special place in our hearts. She was a playful cat and a keen hunter, who was always happiest in the great outdoors. But when we were sad, she would always give good cuddles and
she was a great listener.

She was more like a member of the family, than a pet, and would even sit at the table like a little lady. If there was ever a towel on the ground, you can bet Felicity would be on it.
Felicity lived a happy and fulfilled life, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We love you cotton socks,
Felicity
