Skittles it has been one year today since you left me.
I think of you every day. I try to remember all the good times we had.
You laying in my lap and always on my pillow at bed time.
We made you a beautiful place out by the pond. You loved it so much there.
Me and your human dad have always kept you here in our hearts
I have pictures of you everywhere. I never knew how much I could
love until you. We have a little friend named Heavenly Starburst of Skittles.
He makes me smile to see a little of you in him.
I know he can’t take your place but he is helping to fill the void.
I hope you are at peace and someone is holding you right now.
