My Dear Baby Mau Mau,
Its been two years since you’ve been gone.
I wonder each day what I could have done differently.
Why did I keep driving around all night looking for you when
you were in the yard next door laying there so peacefully.
I called you and you didn’t move I ran to you and
you didn’t move.
I looked at you and were not moving.
I fell to my knees and the pain that I felt was so intense.
You were my life my love.
You were the only thing that I looked forward to seeing
when I came home from work.
You were a wonderful companion and a wonderful pet.
I love and miss you soooo much…..
I hope you are with Grandmother and you both are
watching over me and wishing me well because you
are the wind beneath my wings.
