Stasch was given to me
when I was 6 years old. He was part of a litter of six.
He was a mix of Rottweiler and Labrador. Stasch was a smart dog
as a puppy he would stand on a skate board
with his two left legs and
move it with his other two right legs and
run up the slide and then slide back down.

As we grew up together
we were always together.
At times we would joke Stasch was really a human
in a dog’s skin because of
how human like he would act.

At ten Stasch started showing the signs of aging.
He had arthritis in his knees and
we gave him a heating pad to lay on.
Even then Stasch was playful and refused
to act anything other than a puppy.
Soon after this Stasch’s health started to decline and at first
we couldn’t find out what was wrong.
When we did it was too late.

In June of 2001 Stasch lost his fight with testicular cancer.

He is missed so much and
will never be forgotten.

Your Loving Best Friend

Anthony
