Every Halloween we would get
a nice large pumpkin for the neighborhood kids to enjoy.
When Jade and his brother Victor were small, they would watch my mom carve the funny orange thing into a scary shape. Victor was not impressed but Jade never took his eyes off of it.

One day mom and dad brought home a big pumpkin and sat in on the floor. Jade ran over to it and sniffed it, growled and then curled up next to it. When we tried to take it from him, he looked at us like “hey this is my baby! Leave it alone”. From then on we bought two punkins,
one to carve and one of course for Jade.

This Halloween we will place a nice big punkin on Jade’s grave, and the second punkin my mom will carve will be carved with tears.

Happy Halloween sweet boy Jade
