It’s only been three days since you left, yet they are the hardest days I ever felt; in some strange sense it seems you are closer than ever.
Buddy you always eased me so- nudging against me, rolling over & stretching out for your tummy to be rubbed, waking me up, and sleeping right at my side. You were always there.
I know you will always be with me even though I can’t pet you. I feel you reaching out and petting me! Touching my soul with your sweet wet kisses, and laying against me thru the night.
Thank you Buddy for being the best friend I could ever hope for, and a guiding light for me throughout the rest of my life.
