A Tribute to Calli-Cat

Our beloved Calli-Cat is now in heaven. Calli-Cat was a 16-year-old tortoiseshell that was brown, gold & black. She had white whiskers on one side, and black whiskers on the other. Her main goal in life was to complain. She would wait all day for my wife and I to return home from work just so she could start complaining.

My wife raised her from a kitten, where she would get into everything. Her ears were bigger than her head! She liked to climb the Christmas tree and make believe she was an ornament or the tree topper on top. Our beloved Shih Tzu, Buttons, for whom we lost this earlier year, use to tease Calli-Cat by playing with her tail when Calli-Cat was trying to hide behind the curtains.

Our home is filled with loneliness now, and even though our beloved pets are not physically a part of our lives now, we know that they are watching over us and have become pet angels in heaven.

We still feel that Calli-Cat is home with us. At night, we can still feel her getting into bed with us, sleeping on her favorite pillow between us and curling her tail around my wife’s head.

Calli-Cat will be missed deeply by all those who knew her and whose lives were touched by her presence.

With Love,
