My shih tzu, Domino, died at 2 in the morning on Christmas day because of a heart attack. Although he was very young (9 years old), he had a heart murmur and had gotten 2 surgeries for his eyes in 1 month which caused a blood clot that killed him. Christmas was Domino’s favorite time of the year because he loved sleeping underneath the Christmas tree and to feel the warmth of the lights. He also loved the crowds of people that came over and who greeted and loved him so dearly. Domino was my true best friend who loved me unconditionally. I loved him without a doubt every day of his life and I hope that he knows that I still love him and his memories live on down here on Earth while he is in the bright blue skyes of heaven.
