It has been over five long months that you left very suddenly. There are now some days when I can smile when I think of you, but there are many more times that I feel my aching heart. It has been such a long cold lonely winter without you. I took in some stray cats in your memory because I know you always loved them. I remember when you would always protect the newcomer. Even more surprising they were drawn to you even though you were a dog.Somehow you made them feel safe. I know that you are protecting all the new kitties in heaven. I will love and miss you for eternity.
