Sparky it’s six months now since you’ve been gone and we know that all the time we have left will not diminish our memories or our Love for you. You were a real lady and loved by all who met you. Six months – it seems like only yesterday – I know we did the right thing for you that day six months ago. It has taken me all this time to realize that it was the right time. Georgie and Niki talk of you often. Your friend Neva and I still remember the day you asked to go out on the porch to say your Goodbye to her.
That day near the end when you were so deaf and blind with cataracts your Love came through once again so you had to say goodbye to someone who cared so much about you. Me, Mom and Neva still talk of you everyday and shed a few tears at the same time. You were special to all and all that you met became special to you. I imagine that you and Eileen are together somewhere waiting for the rest of us to come along.
Sparky you had a wonderful life and surely you touched more lives than many of us humans. We thank God for the 16 years and 8 months you spent with us and know we will spend eternity together. We all Miss you so wait a little while – we’ll see you soon.
