Jacky came to me at the tender age of 6 weeks, a small ball of Jack Russel, with a perfect heart on her back. She was a birthday present from my boyfriend, now my husband. She grew up with me, and she loved unconditionally. She was also a very cheeky lady, especially as she grew older, but she always loved us, no matter what. She loved her food, especially steak, and sometimes I spoilt her with a bit of tea, her favourite breakfast was scrambled eggs, oh and only the most expensive dog food was right for her.
She was a well adjusted happy little critter; she hated thunder and rain, and often, when I wasn’t home, she’d curl up near my dad’s feet or sleep on my mom’s lap, we had her for 16 years, and I thank God for giving her to me for so long, but last year, her heart gave in, and she died in my arms. That was the 6th of January 2010, I was devastated, and to this day my heart aches for her. But I know that she is happy where she is now, and I know that she would’nt want us to be sad anymore. This is a tribute to a very special girl, that came into our lives, and even though she’s not here anymore, will always live on in our hearts!
Lots of Love Jacksey,
