I remember that day in September, 2004 when I rescued you from the Humane Society. Nobody wanted you with your lumps and bumps; but I had already fallen for you from afar and home you came with me.
In the long drive home
all you wanted to do was sit on my lap.
You had your surgery to remove the cancer; but it came back a number of months later. You were my brave little girl going through the surgery again;
but the cancer was relentless.
Even though we were only together for 10 short months; the privilege was all mine. You went to the Rainbow Bridge loved with all my heart and a place will be in it forever for you.
Be carefree and happy! Cody will guide you through the Rainbow Bridge and all the other ‘children’ before you.
