Oh Alby, our beautiful, strong little watch dog….I cannot even begin to tell you how much we all miss you. You were so brave and strong yet still so young to be put thru so much physical pain and I know you tolerated it all for our sakes. You did it for me, for Gramma, and mostly for Ben. Ben misses his little brother sooo much, he is heartbroken. two little puppies, from different families brought together by fate one day….became forever brothers!
Ben watched over you when you were sick, listened for your small little cries of pain, and now looks every where to find you. How can we evey make him understand where you are? Alby, I look at our window where you always watched out for us all and I just want to wrap my arms around you and tell you how much I love you.
I am so sorry for all the pain you had to go through, you were too young to have to go through. Ben, still sniffs your bed, guards your toys, and looks at your window for you…
We will never let you go, and although I know you are free from pain, I still want more than anything for you to be her with us. I can only pray that your strength and courage be put upon us all as we try to accept the reality of your passing. Alby, everything has changed with your abscence….no longer the daily bike rides with Gramma, no longer the nightly crazy “clean up face time” runs from room to room, no longer, the sweet little hand and every night when I came home. We will never forget you.
We will always love you. I can never again give my heart like I gave it for you. Please let Ben know you are still near him, playing with him, guarding all of us. May he and all of us feel your love. May we still feel your loving licks across our faces and know that you are free of pain and still running around heaven with your toys, squeaking away the sound that forever describes you and says it all….”Top Dog Airlines”!
