My sweet little angel adopted after the former adopting parent said you were “too ugly” and abused you. You grew up a “one-man cat,” as some pets do because of that abuse and you didn’t want the company of other people or other cats. But the bond we shared was strong as I watched you grow from a kitten into a beautiful lady cat. You always knew you were in for a treat when I’d finish my ice cream and you knew that if you meowed for me and flashed your “pretty kitty” eyes at me you’d get to lick the bowl clean.

You were the first kitty I raised from virtual cradle to your passing 15 years later. It was so hard to say goodbye to you but your little body was wracked with pain and I was not going to let you suffer. I am glad that my face was the last one you saw as you entered your new life happy and whole again. You and Sammy were my buddies when I became a single man again and I will never forget your love and the way you comforted me just by being there. I will never forget you.
