Ashley,
It has now been a year since you left this world. The hardest decision I have ever made was letting you go but I could not stand to watch you suffer. The cancer just took over your body as hard as we tried to fight it. Sometimes I forget you are gone and wait for you to come in from outside with Ari & Bastian. When I vacuum I still wait for you to come and start biting it. I miss you so much! There is some comfort knowing you and your son Cody are together. Ariel will one day join you both but for now she is here with us. Her brown eyes remind me so much of yours.
Ashley you were my best friend for 13 1/2 years and I thank you. You were there for me thru good times and bad. You always comforted me and never complained or judged.
I only wish I was able to do more for you like take you camping and have a house with a pool. You sure loved to swim and play in the water.
I always imagined you would be here when I had my 1st child & bought a house but time goes by so fast. One day we will be together again. Until then please know that your mama & papa love you very much & you are missed by so many.
Megan, Ebony, & Lil Ron were very upset to learn of your passing. They loved coming over to play with you and our other furry kids.
They say that dogs are a man’s best friend but Ashley you were so much more than a dog. You were a girl’s best friend, My best friend. I love you Ashy girl!!!
A girl's best friend,
