Ferret
Our little Aubrey was a spunky playful ferret.
Her favorite pastime was removing the cushioned in-soles of
sneakers or boots and then hiding them.
We would find stashes of colorful in-soles in closets and
under beds. It was such a comical sight to see her trotting
away with a size 10 in-sole that was longer than she was.
Another favorite thing of hers was balloons.
Even in her last days we got her to come around a bit
to attack these latex balloons. She also had a nose for
Ginger Ale and Instant Lemon Iced Tea. We found this out the
hard way when a glass was sitting on a coffee table and she came
diving in spilling the glass and drinking it.
Aubrey was also sadly missed by our dog Ebony.
After Aubrey passed away we dumped the remains of her litter
from her cage out into the snow. Little did we know our Ebony was on a
mission to find Aubrey.
So when she was left out she found the scent and went digging
like mad to rescue Aubrey but to no avail.
She was our first pet and we will never forget our Aubrey.
We love and miss you alot!!
