I went to a local shelter after graduating college. I spotted this little black lab/chow mix puppy and adopted her the next day. She has been a part of several moves and been a source of unconditional love and companionship for 15 years. Today, after a short battle with cancer, we made the decision to put her down. Two nights
prior, I took her out into the backyard and cried as I held her and looked into her eyes. I am so sad and will miss her so much.
