MY SWEET LITTLE KITTY.
YOU NEVER HAD MUCH LUCK IN YOUR LIFE.
BEING ON THE STREETS, THEN RESCUED
AT THE AGE OF 5 YEARS, ONLY TO FIND
OUT YOU WERE DIABETIC.
FINALLY YOU WERE ADOPTED AND CARED FOR AND MUCH LOVED. BEING ONLY 15 MONTH WITH US YOU GOT SICK FROM ONE DAY TO THE OTHER. WE FOUND OUT YOU HAD THE FIP VIRUS, AND THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO TO HELP.
WE ARE GLAD YOU HAD HAPPINESS AND LOTS OF LOVE LIVING WITH US. YOU EVEN TURNED INTO A KITTEN AGAIN AFTER THE TOUGH LIFE ON THE STREETS.
OUR LITTLE PRINC IS DEARLY MISSED AND MUCH LOVED.
THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER LIKE YOU.
RUN HAPPY AND PAINFREE AT RAINBOW BRIDGE TILL OUR CHAIN LINKS AGAIN MY LITTLE PRINC.
LIFE WITHOUT PINKY
I ONLY WANTED YOU
THEY SAY MEMORIES ARE GOLDEN
WELL MAYBE THAT IS TRUE
I NEVER WANTED MEMORIES,
I ONLY WANTED YOU.
A MILLION TIMES I NEEDED YOU,
A MILLION TIMES I CRIED.
IF LOVE ALONE COULD HAVE SAVED YOU
YOU NEVER WOULD HAVE DIED.
IN LIFE I LOVED YOU DEARLY,
IN DEATH I LOVE YOU STILL
IN MY HEART YOU HOLD A PLACE
NO ONE COULD EVER FILL.
IF TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWAY
AND HEARTACHE MAKE A LANE,
I’D WALK THE PATH TO HEAVEN
AND BRING YOU BACK AGAIN.
OUR FAMILY CHAIN IS BROKEN,
AND NOTHING SEEMS THE SAME.
BUT AS GOD CALLS US ONE BY ONE,
THE CHAIN WILL LINK AGAIN.
MY BEAUTIFUL LITTLE FELINE GIRL
THIS IS TO WISH YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY AT RAINBOW BRIDGE. RUN FREE AND WITHOUT PAIN.
MOMMY ONLY WISHES YOU WOULD BE HERE TO CELEBRATE.
BUT WATCH OUT MY LITTLE GIRL.ONE DAY YOU PRICK YOUR EARS, AND SEE MOMMY STANDING THERE NEVER TO BE SEPARATED AGAIN.
My beloved Pinky,
You have been with me for 19 years, and you still are. Everywhere mommy went, you went, too. You were and are so precious, that mommy never left you alone, and you were always there. You are forever in mommy’s heart, and mommy will always love you.
PINKY’S AMAZING GRACE,
you had AMAZING GRACE, and you are gone now for five years. Mommy’s heart is still so heavy, she cries every day for you, even though you told me not to, as you are with me in spirit.
We shared 19 wonderful years of joy together. It is so difficult to go on without you, PINKY. Getting you at the age of 10 weeks, so tiny, we bonded. You went with me on every holiday, we even moved from Europe to Canada, never leaving my site. Pinky, you were like a human being, only better, never did you do anything wrong.
The day you died (March 21, 1998), my heart went with you.
But we will meet at Rainbow Bridge soon.
I hope you will be waiting.
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I’d have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I’d always thought,
I didn’t want to die.
I had so much to live for,
So much yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I’d say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven’s gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and
smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,
He said “This is eternity,
And all I’ve promised you.”
Today for life on earth is past,
But here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day’s the same way
There’s no longing for the past
But you have been faithful,
so trusting and so true,
Thought there were times
you did some things,
You knew you shouldn’t do.
But you have been forgiven
And now at last you’re free.
So won’t you take my hand
And share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right here, in your heart.
I WILL MEET YOU AT RAINBOW BRIDGE
My Precious Furry Friend
What woud I do without you
My precious, furry fiend?
Part mischief, but all blessing,
And faithful to the end!
You look at me with eyes of love;
You never hold a grudge…
You think I’m far too wonderful
To criticize or judge.
It seems your greatest joy in life
Is being close to me…
I think God knew how comforting
Your warm, soft fur would be.
I know you think you’re human
But I’m glad it isn’t true
The world would be a nicer place
If folks were more like you!
A few short years is all we have;
One day we’ll have to part…
But you my feline, will always have
A place within my heart.
My Precious Pinky…
Mommy misses you so much.
