I lost you a month ago. I would have done anything to keep you and everyday am tortured by the thought that I didn’t do enough to save you. You trusted me completely. You were 12 years old and it showed sometimes, but most times you looked and acted many years younger than other dogs less your age. Your companionship was a great comfort that I never took for granted and am now lost without. You made me feel special and I wish and hope that you knew how much you meant to me. I knew that I would lose you someday, but that day came far too soon. I will always love you and miss you.
