My aunt had the most wonderful dog named Girlie who came into her life spur of the moment in 1997. She was about 1 year old we estimated. Someone had left her tied up to a post and never came back to get her. So my aunt’s neighbor saw this, rescued her and being unable to keep her herself, asked my aunt if she wanted her. She said YES! Girlie ended up being the savior in her life. She was there for her when no one else was or could be. She listened without judgement and consoled by a simple lick. She really was the sweetest dog ever. We were never sure of her breed. She seemed a mix of pitbull/german shepherd, but no matter, because she never once lunged, barked or growled at any human being. Girlie was nothing but pure love brought to my aunt to serve a huge purpose in her life. We all love you Girlie and thank you for showing Martine what true love really is. You guys were best friends and always will be!
