Fluffy by Nickersons / Your people

Fluffy died after living with us for 17 years. He loved catnip pillows, tuna fish, milk ties, playing with his sister Beauty, his friend Spooky and his best bud, Curly the dog. Fluffy was the kindest cat. He was never mean or obnoxious or annoying. He could stare into your eyes for uncomfortable amounts of time without blinking. We would joke that he was stealing your brain waves. He was more like a good dog than a cat. He would sneak out the door when someone would go in or out, roll in the dirt, eat some grass, go for a little walk and come back in. We loved him so very much and it was awful watching him die of Congestive Heart Failure here at home. At the same time though, it was nice to know he was home, comforted by people that loved him. I wish we could have had him put down and not have to go through that.

If you can hear this, Fluffy, I am so sorry you went through that before you passed. I loved you. We all did and miss you terribly. I imagine that you are in heaven, feeling young and frisky, your big, beautiful eyes radiating with health like they were before. I can still hear you making your cute little noises (we would say you were burning rubber, barking, saying hello and “purping”). I want you to know that you were the best cat we ever had and that we’ve told everyone how wonderful you were. We miss you, you silly goose.
