My beautiful munchkin, I watched you enter this world and I held you as you left it.
You were a part of who I am, people used to joke that we were one as we knew each other so well. You were the perfect pet, you were a pillow for my head when I was little and I was a lap for you to lay on as we grew older together.
Not a day passes when I do not think of you, your beautiful eyes, your softest fur, your little white diamond under your chin. The way you curled up on my shoulder and hid yourself in my hair. The little patch of black fluff you have left under my bed. The huge hole in my heart that aches for you.
Thank you for waiting for me to get home, I will never forget how dignified you were in those last final moments.
