I remember the day that you were born like it was yesterday. You were the first kitten to come into this world and I was the first thing that you saw after I cleaned your little eyes. You were so beautiful and I knew right away that you were my kitten and I was your human.

Zoot didn’t produce enough milk so I got the privilage of feeding you. You were my baby in every respect and never once left my side. You have been with me everywhere I have gone for the last 10 years with your unconditional love and I can’t imagine how life is going to be without you. We made a lot of homes together in that time and each of them was home because we were together. I miss you talking to me, greeting me when I arrive home, sleeping next to my head, filling everything in my house with your fur, and nibbling on my nose. I knew when I looked into your eyes that you had total trust in me, and I in you. I am glad that you did not suffer long in your passing, but it is so hard to know that you are never coming home.

I miss you and I love you and I hope that when it is my time to come to heaven you are there waiting to greet me. I will bring your favorite brush and my never-ending love. I hope that you are running in the sunlight and chasing squirrels. You are still my sunshine baby and I love you:)
