I still reach for you at bedtime when I turn out the light to give you your good night head scratch and I still look for you to dart in front of me as I walk down the hallway only to trip over your hind end. When a pet dies
a cloud turns into an angel and

another flower on a pillow.

A bird gives the message back to the world and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. They are not physically with us but they never really go away. Their spirits put the sun to bed wake up the grass and spin the earth.

Sometimes you can see them playing in a cloud during the day time and wagging their little tail to let you know they are watching over you. They paint the rainbows and the sunsets and make waves splash and
tug at the tide.

They toss shooting stars and watch over us when we sleep And when you feel the wind blow it is them nuzzeling your ear and letting us know they love us.

They are never gone

My Dearest Cleo

Oh Ki-Ki I know you’ve been gone for almost three years but I still expect to see you when I walk into my room. You loved to curl up beside me and help me with my homework and you were a wonderful piano player.

You made all my practices easier to take. You loved to fall asleep next to me every night. It’s just not the same without you. I can still hear the sound of your yowl at the top of the stairs when you wanted me to let you in my room. You were a character and I was blessed to have been able to love you and share your life. I hope you are at peace and

at your favorite place.

My Beloved Tippy

Today I had to put you to sleep because of your cancer that was eating you up alive. They say you should have died a year ago but your sprit was so strong and your love for me and your friend Lil Blue. At first I was in shock and couldn’t belive you are gone after 12 years and I hope that you forgive me and I feel so bad. I miss you terribly.

I remember the day in 1990 when I went to the pound looking for a dog and there you were looking at me barking your head off saying take me take me; I’m the one you want! So I took you home and you have never left my side since. You were always there for me. We went through some real tough times but you were always there with your smile and wagging tail and we always went horseback riding together with all the other families and their dogs
always had a good time.
You liked to hunt
in your younger days.

As the years passed you slowed down but you were still there with me on my side. Then one day you became very ill. It was cancer. We did cancer treaments surgeries alot of them to try to save you. After 8 months of fighting the cancer it was so widespread. We just gave up the treatment and let you live out the rest of your life and that you did. You lived way longer than you were supposed too. You were such a brave dog and happy until the very end.

Tippy I love you so much and miss you so! But I want you to know and you probably already do. That your friend Blue that died 2 years ago is waiting for you at the gate and I bet she guided you on your journey. Wait for me big boy I can’t wait to see you and Blue again

I miss you so much. We grew up together and you were always with me slung over my shoulder purring up a storm. I couldn’t imagine life without you and now you’re gone. I feel like a big part of me died with you last week. I wish I could have made you all better but you were too sick. It happened so fast but I thank the Lord that I had you with me for seventeen years. You were the best cat ever.

We made a memorial with miniature roses around it. We painted a marker and placed it at the memorial. We think about you everyday and touch the little box that holds your ashes. We will keep them close to us forever.
