Emma by Betsy
My darling little Emma
I’m brokenhearted without you. I’m dreaming of holding you and feeding you and your companions are grieving terribly also. I hope you knew how much I loved you – and how I pray you did not suffer terribly in the last days. Scott misses you so much – and Mama B weeps daily for you. As I tell my friends – if you could have talked you would have said “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful! I just can’t help it!”
This makes me smile as I cry because you were as sweet as you were pretty. Will you wait for me to join you? I am convinced that you are finally free of pain and discomfort in a cozy sunny place with good things to eat and soft pillows.
I will never stop
missing and loving you.
Betsy
Ms. Goldie by Judy
Dear Ms. Goldie
I wanted to thank you for coming into my life. The day you adopted me was a new beginning in my life. You were my special gift. You taught me how to love again – and showed me that I was actually lovable.
I watched your courage and determination as you struggled with hips that pained you. But you never gave up – because I know you never wanted me to give up. You taught me how to find the courage within myself and how to use it in my own life – you guided me so I could start my life over again
despite my own disability.
Ms. Goldie we watched as death finally reached for you – we know you would never have gone willingly – Thank you for always being there. I hope you know that we love you – We will always love you. You own a special place in our hearts. I know you are now patiently waiting for me as you so patiently always waited for me. Just wait. I have many things I have to do here – I must take care of your sister your greyhound sister she misses you she is scared. I know you will take care of
her when her time comes.
Thank you pea I always knew I could depend on you. You were one of a kind a truly special gift. I will miss you until the day
we are reunited again.
I love you! We all loved you!!

Prince Charlie by Shirley
You gave so much and asked for so little in return. I loved your “no-tail” and one blue eye. You were so cute when you jumped into the air when you were happy. I’m so glad you had a good last year-a big yard
and lots of love.
You watched out for your family and handled yourself with dignity. You will always be remembered and loved. I have an empty space in my heart but a lot of
wonderful memories.

Charlie by Ericka
Oh my dearest Charlie boy
I miss you so much. How can I ever express the joy that you so unselfishly gave to me. You were always there with your purring and bright eyes. My life seems so empty with out your bright personality and charm. I know that you are in heaven as I always told you that you were a gift from Jesus.
You taught me so much and never asked for much in return. I love you for an eternity and will look for you my lovely boy at the Rainbow Bridge. Good bye my sweet and rest easy in the knowledge that you are very much loved and never forgotten.
Hugs and kisses
Mamma Poppy and
your sister Sasha
Tanner by Jim
In memory of Tanner
Buddy as I often called him came to me as a big ball of fur as a christmas gift in 1989. Over the next 13 1/2 years a special bond developed between us. I remember when I would take him to the creek by our house and he would look at me as if asking “Can I go for a swim?” I would say go ahead and
in he would go.
He would chase tennis balls in our court for hours even figuring out which way the ball would bounce of the opposte curb where it curved. He would never get tired.
Sadly in 1997 his eyesight was lost to glaucoma but that didn’t stop him from chasing the tennis balls. He used his nose to find them. Mild arthritis challenged him the last 3 years but he didn’t let that slow him down. He still loved to go for walks.
Finally at about 9:15 in the evening of March 6 2002 the beginning of the end came as I let him out to go to the bathroom in the front yard he went for a stroll to a neighbor’s house 2 houses away to visit. My other neighbor next to me came barreling out of his driveway in his truck and I watched in horror as the truck went over him. The differential of the truck struck Tanner so hard he was knocked backwards 5 feet into the gutter and he tried so hard to get his rear feet to work but they wouldn’t cooperate and he cried in the most horrific sound I have ever heard.
I knew the end was near. A 24 hour vet was open and after having x-rays taken I was shown the pictures of a broken back cracked ribs and a hernia. My little Buddy would never walk again and even if I had chosen surgery he may not even survive that. It was time to say good bye to my best friend which to a tearfull 40 minutes to do. I couldn’t watch him take his final breath so I had a vet assistant take him into the back room. As he was picked up he cried one last time and since then I have wondered if he was crying in pain or saying goodbye to me I think it was goodbye. The guy that hit him still has not bothered to ask how he is doing and has not shown his face yet
and that bothers me a lot.
Tanner I’m having a hard time here at home. I know you are with my mom and dad waiting for me to be with you again. You were a great dog and a great friend and
I miss you so much.
Be a good boy

Baba Puppy by Audrey
TIME IS SLIPPING FAST
HOW DO I HOLD ON TO YOU
AND STILL LOVE YOU ENOUGH
TO LET YOU GO?
HOW DO I PUT OUT THE LIGHT
WHEN IN MY HEART THE FIRES GROW.
HOW DO I TURN BACK THE TIME
AND TURN DEATH FROM THE DOOR?
HOW WILL I FILL MY EMPTY ARMS
WHEN I CAN’T HOLD YOU ANY MORE?
HOW DO I JUST STEP BACK AND
LET THINGS BE AS THEY MUST.
HOW DO I SAY GOOD-BYE
WHEN I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH?
HOW WILL I STAY WARM AT NIGHT
WHEN YOU’RE NOT CUDDLED
BY MY SIDE?
HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR THIS
LORD KNOWS HOW HARD I’VE TRIED.
HOW WILL I GIVE YOU BACK TO GOD
WHEN I FEEL THAT YOU ARE MINE?
HOW WILL I EVER ACCEPT THE FACT
WE’RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME.

Brindee by Jim & Charlene
~Sweet Brindee~
By Charlene McCann ¬ 2002
You’ve gone to meet ‘Our Jenny’.
You two should get along.
You both gave love so tenderly;
You filled our lives with song.
We got to say Good-Bye to you
Even though it broke our hearts.
It tore us up so much inside;
We totally fell apart.
Unable to mend your boo-boo’s
You got sicker by the day.
We did all we could think of;
Your health just slipped away.
“Mommy; Daddy; I feel so sick.
My life is no more fun.”
And so we chose the best for you.
Your life with us is done.
You’re now a healthy lively pup
Just waiting for the day.
When Mom and Dad can
cross that bridge;
It’s “The Rainbow Bridge” you say.

Lady by Sharon
Today I lost my Lady less than one month from losing my Duchess. I love you “Big Red” and will miss you always. I wish you could have stayed longer but it was time to join Fred Duke Duchess and Cleo in the clouds. All the kitties in heaven today
have a dog angel as
you were always the cat magnet.
Good Bye and Sleep well.

Lucky by Devon, Meryl & Lara

You looked after us so well and died doing battle with a snake. We miss you dearly. Honey-girl pined for you until we got her
another baby to look after.
We love you.

“To think you almost
named me “Tuffy”
“OUR GENTLE GIANT”
“To have loved and then said
farewell is better than to
have never loved at all”
“If tears could build a stairway
and memories a lane
I’d walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again.
For all the times that you stooped and touched my head fed me my favorite bone and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave to you…for the hours you comforted me in the storm…for the care that you gave to me so unselfishly all of these things
I am grateful and thankful.
My life was fuller because you were there not as my owner but..as my friend. My parting has left you with a void but feel it with a remembered joy…a friendship shared your laugh…as I peek through the
doors once afraid to pass.
Remember our special walks each day silently as our hearts were connected and our eyes met with complete trust. I will continue to walk by your side; and always be with you; I am the wind in your hair the sunshine on your face and your guardian angel on your shoulder. Do not shed tears as there is no sorrow and I feel no pain.
As I crossed rainbow bridge
they were waiting for me
Kayla and Karley came running
so free…
We run and we play
like never apart.
I will always be with you…
I left my paw prints on your heart.

‘Jenner’ you’ve been gone now
For seven long long years.
You’re in our hearts and
thoughts still;
And so often in our tears.
We didn’t get a chance to
Say Good-Bye to you.
You went away so rapidly;
We never had a clue.
We would have been there
by your side;
If only we had known.
To give you love and
comfort sweet
And not be left alone.
We’re sorry ‘baby’ for the fear
You must have felt that night.
If we could change it all today;
You know we’d make things right.

Ryan’s P.T. Barnum by Jayne & Ryan
My little man.
You were the best puppy. I’m so glad that you and I got to spend your last minutes together. Chris gave you an injection that let you relax and I just sat and held you and told you what a good dog you were. When you were completely relaxed and asleep Chris then gave you the medicine that forever took your pain away.
Barney I miss you so much and you will forever be in my heart. My tears are selfish tears just for me because I know that you are okay now running with the wind in your ears just like you used to do. Everytime I eat a jellybean I’ll think of you. Oh my little man – my precious precious puppy. Wait for me at the bridge BarnBarn
I’ll be looking for you.
Mom.

Speckles by Lisa
Thank you Speckles for being a part of my life. You’re so beautiful and now you’re pecking grass and bugs in Heaven. I am honored that you and the rest of your homeless flock chose me to care for you. And thank you for all the beautiful eggs that you left for me. Your body is one with the Earth again and I will miss you.
All my love sweet little hen
until we meet again.

Mann’s Spunky Lady Princess by David,Kristi,Becca & Amy
Lady –
You will always be in our hearts. You were our best friend and true member of our family. Sleep well and thank you so much for the unconditional love you gave us. We pray you valued your time with us as much as we valued you. You will live on in our hearts and memory forever. Run jump and play as you always loved doing with us.
We know that one day when we leave this earth – that you will be there to greet us with your love and companionship again. We will miss you so much – but we know you have no pain now and every day will be warm and sunny. Until we meet again – We love you Lady – with all our hearts and you will
NEVER EVER be forgotten.

Princess by Tom
To my beloved Princess
I miss you so much. I’m so lonely without you. You were the love of my life. We shared the only real kind of love there is. The unconditional kind. I would give anything to hold you again. To hear the sound of your purring. To feel your kisses waking me up in the morning. And to see you waiting at the door to greet me. You were so pretty. Everyone who saw you said so! And you were such a good girl. So well-behaved. I couldn’t ever imagine a more perfect affectionate loving companion than you. That’s why it hurts so much that you’re gone.
Did you see the candle I lit for you and hear my prayer? I heard the song on the radio that you played for me. I will always love you too! I sense your presense at home sometimes too. I enjoy your visits. They don’t frighten me. Please forgive me for not being able to save you. I tried the best I could. Please know how much I love you.
I gave you all
I was capable of.
One day when my time comes we’ll be together once again in Heaven with God. Until then know that your Daddy thinks of you every day and loves you so very much.
