I got to the Gate of Heaven
after we said goodbye.
I began to miss you terribly
because I heard you cry.
Suddenly there was an angel
that asked me to enter the Gate
I asked her if I could stay outside
for someone who’d be late.
I wouldn’t make much noise you see
I wouldn’t bark or howl..
I’ll only wait here patiently
and play with my tennis ball.
The Angel said I could stay right here
and wait for you to come
So I’ll wait here…you take your time
’cause we can’t be apart…
Because Heaven
just wouldn’t be Heaven
without you to warm my heart.
My loyal friend and my little prince you will always be forever missed and forever loved by your Mamma, Peter, big brother Adam, and playmates Oscar and Bonny. Until we meet again on the Rainbow Bridge, I will carry you in my heart my sweet boy. xxx

Mostly no-one noticed you were even there,
Yet you are present in every memory for which I care.
The years of brave fighting are now over and done.
Loved and remembered you rest knowing that you won.
Mostly no-one noticed you were even here,
But you were present in every moment I hold dear.
We fought the last fight with little more to gain,
But now your spirit is free from suffering and pain.
Sandi has been waiting for you on the Rainbow
Bridge for such a long timeā¦
and she will take care of you now.
