Kitten
I was driving home one night and saw a little kitten
run across the interstate. It was about 10:00 pm.
I put the kitten in my car and drove home.
It went immediately to my lap and started nudging her little
head on my lap and letting out a pitiful meow.
Baby Kitty stayed on my front porch for two days
and I decided to keep her.
When I took her to the veterinarian the next day she tested
positive for Feline Leukemia Feline HIV and she was totally blind
and had a urinary tract infection.
I saw her on the table in the doctor’s office meowing at me
and wanting to get in my arms.
I knew I had to have her put out of her misery.
Tomorrow is the day my Baby Kitty will go to Heaven.
I’ll miss you and will always love you
and I’ll always remember you.
