Oh, My Barley Bud. I tried to savor every day we had together for I knew the time would come that you would have to go. You taught me how to love, care for someone other than myself, what a good friend really is, how to handle illness with dignity and how important our bond is. You saw me through many things, for many years. Yet you never asked for anything in return. I know we’ll meet again, in the meantime be free and happy.
